Women's gymnastics superstar Simone Biles pulled out of the team finals at the Tokyo Olympics today. Biles said she withdrew from the women’s team final because she wasn’t in a good place mentally to compete after facing so much pressure to win.
After Biles was pulled out, the United States settled for the silver as the Russian Olympic Committee pulled off the upset to take gold with a total score of 169.528. The U.S. finished with a final score of 166.096 and Great Britain earned the bronze with a score of 164.096.
