A congressional aide in House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's office has tested positive for COVID-19 after meeting with Texas Democrats last week.
Pelosi spokesman Drew Hammill confirmed to NBC News the staffer is fully vaccinated.
Hammill noted the individual has had no contact with the California Democrat since exposure.
Pelosi's entire press office is working remotely today with the exception of individuals who have had no exposure or have had a recent negative test.
