A chartered plane is headed to Washington, DC in hopes of getting Texas Democrats to return to Austin. Texas House Speaker Dade Phelan says the plane will be on standby on Saturday. The Republican is asking Democrats to contact his staff immediately so he can make sure there are enough seats. The Texas House hasn't been able to gavel in this week due to a lack of a quorum. Democrats left Austin for Washington, DC saying it was necessary to prevent a vote on an elections bill they're calling voter suppression.
