Texas gas is at the highest it's been in seven years. AAA Texas says the price for a gallon of regular unleaded is $2.81, up a penny from last week. A spokesperson says gas prices have risen 45% this year due to high demand and higher oil prices. Texas still has the third lowest gas price in the nation. The national average is $3.14.
