A three-run top of the seventh proved to be the difference in yesterday's game between the Rangers and Tigers as Texas dropped its finale with Detroit 5-3. Kyle Gibson suffered his first loss of the season after allowing five runs on eight hits over 6.1 innings. Joey Gallo added to his home run total with a pair of solo shots to give him 23 on the year. Jordan Lyles will get the ball for Texas tomorrow night in the opener of a three-game series with the Oakland Athletics. After the game, Joey Gallo was named as one of the participants in this year's Home Run Derby.
