The second-largest school district in San Antonio is offering only in-person learning this fall. North East ISD announced on Thursday via social media that there will be no remote learning in the coming school year because of a lack of funding from the state. District officials blamed state lawmakers for failing to pass a bill that would have provided the necessary funding for virtual instruction to continue.
