In-person jury trials are back in Bexar County, but civil district courts are settling many cases with no need of a jury. Nine cases have been settled prior to jury selection since courts reopened on June 1st. The civil courts conducted cases via Zoom during the pandemic. Following a Zoom bench trial pilot program, they heard 15 Zoom jury trials since last October.
