The Rangers were shut out by the Mariners, 5-0, in the series opener in Seattle. They couldn't solve M's starter Chris Flexen, who allowed just three hits and a walk over seven innings. Jose Trevino was the lone Ranger with multiple hits, going 2-for-3. It's the team's third straight loss since sweeping the Astros. Jordan Lyles starts tonight's rematch.
