Today is the last day for Bexar County property owners to appeal their 2021 property values with the Bexar Appraisal District. County Tax Assessor-Collector Albert Uresti is reminding property owners that his office doesn't set property values. Property values are determined by the Bexar Appraisal District, which is not part of the Tax Assessor-Collector's Office. Taxable properties are appraised every year on January 1st. The tax office says there have been fluctuations in value as a result of housing availability and the pandemic.
