White House Chief of Staff Ron Klain is being pressed about the possibility that former President Trump will run again in 2024.
During a weekend interview with Axios on HBO, Klain said, "I wouldn't want to estimate or underestimate Donald Trump as an opponent if he chooses to run."
Klain added President Biden is "hopefully assembling a powerful record to run on if he runs for reelection in 2024."
He said Trump had a "bad record" to run on in 2020. Biden has said he intends to seek re-election.
Trump has suggested he's seriously considering another run.
