Jose Altuve celebrated his 31st birthday in style, hitting the game-deciding three-run homer as the Astros beat the Yankees 7-4 at Yankee Stadium. Yordan Alvarez hit a pair of solo homers as Martin Maldonado hit a two-run shot in the ninth. Andre Scrubb got the win in relief as Ryan Pressly picked up his fifth save. Giancarlo Stanton extended his hitting streak to 12 with a homer in the third. Chad Green took the loss, his third of the year. New York saw its five-game winning streak come to an end.
