The Triple-A Texas Weekend Gas Watch says the statewide average gas price in Texas is $2.64 a gallon for regular unleaded. That price is up six cents from a week ago, and is a $1.14 higher than a year ago. The national average is $2.94. Crude oil prices are fluctuating, but demand is rising as more people are vaccinated and getting back on the roads.
