Rangers Defeat Red Sox

The Rangers opened a four-game series against Boston with a 4-1 win over the Red Sox in Arlington. Kyle Gibson's performance was completely opposite from his first career opening day start as he gave up just one run while pitching three-hit ball over six innings. Jose Trevino's first home run of the season also brought home Adolis Garcia, who also drove in a run. Isiah Kiner-Falefa also homered in the seventh inning. Rafael Devers hit an RBI double and snapped Gibson's home scoreless streak at 25 and two-third innings, which matches the second longest streak in Arlington since 1994.
