Christian Javier fired seven shutout innings as the Astros blanked the Mariners 2-0 in Houston. Javier ran his record to 3-and-0 on the season. Ryan Pressly pitched a scoreless ninth for his third save. Yordan Alvarez and Kyle Tucker plated the runs for the Astros, who have won five of their last six. Marco Gonzales permitted two runs in six frames and fell to 1-and-3. Seattle has lost three straight.
