The Mavericks spoiled the return of Anthony Davis to the lineup after a 30-game absence with a 115-110 win over the Lakers at home. Luka Doncic scored 30 points to lead the Mavs offense but lost big man Kristaps Porzingis left with a sprained left ankle in the third quarter. All five Dallas starters finished in double figures with Josh Richardson scoring 13 points, and Dorian Finney-Smith and Dwight Powell dropping 10 apiece. The two face off again on Saturday.
