The Rockies sent the Astros to their ninth loss in 10 games with a 6-3 win over Houston in Denver. Yuli Gurriel's two-run homer in the second inning was Houston's only extra-base hit and the offensive lift from Jose Altuve is still absent as he remains sidelined for health and safety protocols. Since the Astros' 6-and-1 start, they have dropped to last place in the AL West standings at 7-and-10. Houston returns home to open a four-game series against the Angels tonight.
