A medical marijuana facility planned for San Marcos is expected to create hundreds of new jobs. The Atlanta-based company Parallel announced the upcoming creation of the $25 million facility. The 63,000-square-foot space will focus on the cultivation, production, and retail of cannabis for medical marijuana patients in San Antonio. A Parallel rep said the company will be hiring soon in the areas of cultivation, chemistry, manufacturing, formulation, marketing, customer support, and retail.
