AZ Governor Declares State Of Emergency, Sending National Guard To Border

Arizona Governor Doug Ducey is declaring a state of emergency in six counties over the recent jump in migrants being detained at the U.S. border.

Ducey's office announced he'll order up to 250 National Guard troops to the border in the next few days.

They're expected to help local law enforcement agencies, install and maintain border cameras, monitor and collect camera data, and analyze satellite imagery.

They might also help with medical operations in detention centers.
