An arrest warrant for former Cowboy and current Seahawks defensive end Aldon Smith was issued by a sheriff's office in Louisiana on Monday. Sheriff deputies responded to a call for medical assistance on Saturday evening and found a man who said he was assaulted by an acquaintance outside a local business, according to the agency's post on Facebook. Detectives identified the suspect as 31-year-old Smith and took out a warrant for second-degree battery. The Seahawks say they were aware of the reports, as he had notified them and the organization has no further comment at the time as they are gathering more information.
