Two people are dead following a shooting involving San Antonio police during a traffic stop in the 2200 block of Pinn Road. San Antonio Police Chief William McManus says an officer was shot in the hand this morning on the West Side of the city after having a conversation with the suspects. The officer returned fire, killing two suspects and wounding a third. McManus believes the officer is lucky to be alive because the shooting happened at close range. It's not known why the suspect started shooting.
