San Antonio voters will cast their ballots on May 1st to choose the mayor and all ten city council seats. Former city councilman Greg Brockhouse is challenging Mayor Ron Nirenberg, who narrowly won a runoff over Brockhouse in 2019. Also in the running is Denise Gutierrez-Homer. Two of the city council seats are open because of term limits. Also on the ballot is Proposition B, which would eliminate collective bargaining rights for police officers. Any runoffs that may be necessary will take place on June 5th.
