Democrats are introducing a bill that would expand the U.S. Supreme Court.
They want to have 13 justices instead of nine.
The effort is being led by Massachusetts Senator Ed Markey and New York Congressman Jerrold Nadler in the House.
NBC News says it's unlikely the law will be successful with many lawmakers opposing the idea and slim Democratic majorities in both chambers.
This comes after President Biden announced a new commission last week to look at potentially adding seats or term limits.
