A new Gallup poll is showing more Americans are identifying as Democrats than Republicans.
The poll results were released today and show an average of 49% of adults reported Democratic Party affiliation or were Democratic-leaning throughout the first quarter of 2021.
40% adults identified as Republican or Republican-leaning.
The difference is the Democrats' largest advantage since 2012.
