City officials are asking residents what they expect of the San Antonio Police Department. A series of virtual community hearings are planned for April and May in each of the ten city council districts to allow residents to put forth their views on the role of the police in the community. The city also plans to host city-wide virtual discussions and telephone town hall meetings, plus an event for Spanish speakers. Public feedback will come in handy as the city and the police union continue to negotiate a new police contract.
