Rangers' Strange, Historic Season Opener

The Rangers opened their 50th season with a strange 14-10 loss to the Royals. Texas manager Chris Woodward warned the Rangers of the weird things that happen on Opening Day, but even he could not have foreseen what was to unfold. The Rangers opened with a five-run lead in the top of the first inning, then lost it by the end of the inning. Texas and KC both made history as neither starting pitcher made it out of the first inning.
