For the second year in a row, the San Antonio tradition of camping out in city parks for Easter is being disallowed because of the pandemic. Mayor Ron Nirenberg made the announcement on Monday. The mayor encouraged families to celebrate Easter safely by visiting parks and enjoying the outdoors, but overnight camping at local parks won't be permitted. Nirenberg says the city doesn't have the resources to enforce pandemic protocols.
