A recent data analysis shows 58% of Bexar County residents age 65 and older have received at least one dose of the coronavirus vaccine. In addition, 30% of residents age 16 or older have received at least one shot. San Antonio Assistant City Manager Dr. Colleen Bridger says the numbers are the result of efforts by Metro Health and community partners who reached out to make sure residents had access to vaccine appointments and other resources. Bridger says the fight isn't over, but progress is being made.
