President Biden says he is addressing the overcrowding of migrant children in camps in Texas. Speaking to reporters, he said he's working to open shelters on military bases and elsewhere, but admitted there's no easy answer to the immigration problem. He said he will commit to transparency, but would not give a date when journalists would be allowed inside these camps. He said he makes no apologies for rolling back Trump immigration polices too quickly because he believes they were not working. Biden adamantly stated he will not immediately deport unaccompanied children crossing the border.
