Republican members of Congress visit an immigrant processing center on the border near El Paso. California Congressman Kevin McCarthy and a dozen or so other lawmakers toured the site yesterday. After the site inspection, McCarthy said not only is it clear that the Biden administration's assessment that there is no crisis at the border is inaccurate, the immigrants' overcrowded conditions are "heartbreaking." McCarthy claims the Biden administration's policies are enticing the immigrants to take a chance and return to try to cross the border in large numbers.
