More lawmakers are pushing for the resignation of New York Governor Andrew Cuomo.
This comes after five women have come forward to accuse him of sexual harassment.
Senate Majority Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins is now one of the highest ranking Democratic lawmakers to join the effort.
She says the mounting accusations against the governor are taking away from the business of government. She added New York needs to be governed without distraction amid the pandemic.
Cuomo has apologized to some of the women, but denies any improper physical contact with them.
