The San Antonio Chamber of Commerce is expressing its approval of Gov. Greg Abbott's decision to allow businesses to fully reopen. Chamber President and CEO Richard Perez issued a statement applauding the governor's move, which takes effect next Wednesday. Perez says businesses can make the decisions necessary to keep their employees and customers safe. Perez pointed to the improving pandemic numbers in San Antonio, as well as the increasing availability of vaccines, as reasons to reopen businesses.
