Police are investigating after a man wounded his wife and then killed himself at a doctor's office in west Houston. Officers responded to the double shooting about 3 p.m. on Richmond near Kirkwood, next door to the Woman's Hospital of Texas. The couple reportedly went to a fourth-floor office where the man had an appointment. A witness told police the man shot his wife twice and then fatally shot himself. She was wounded in the chest and arm. She was taken to Memorial Hermann Hospital in unknown condition.
