SAWS says it has now restored water service 100% of its service area, but some still remain under boil water order notice. Some also may not have water due to broken pipes at their homes and businesses.
SAWS has opened water distribution locations across the city at its pump stations to provide customers with bulk water. Sites will be open until Noon today (Monday.)
The water service says it is also taking steps to offer some bill relief to customers. Under the plan customers will either pay the total charges on this month's bill or last month's charges, whichever is lower.
