Mason County leaders are promising to rebuild after the destruction of the historic courthouse. The 111-year-old building went up in flames last night and County Judge Jerry Bearden believes the fire is suspicious. The outer facade still exists but the bell tower was destroyed. The courthouse was supposed to undergo renovation in the spring.
