Northeast ISD is considering how to handle its graduation ceremony this year in the ongoing pandemic. There were 150 new coronavirus cases among in-person students and 55 new cases among district employees in the week of January 18th to the 24th, which is down a bit from the weeks right after Christmas and New Year's. Aubrey Chancellor with NEISD says they'd prefer to see things back to normal before doing an in-person graduation. He says they'll follow the advice of the CDC, Metro Health, and the governor.
