Democrats who failed to defeat Texas Senator Ted Cruz at the polls now want him removed from office for supporting President Trump. Party Chair Gilberto Hinojosa says Cruz is one of many Texas Republicans whose actions warrant expulsion from office. Texas A&M Political Science Professor Kirby Goidel says not only is that unlikely to happen, but he doubts it will affect his chances at re-election. Goidel adds that voters have short memories, and Cruz isn't up for election for another four years.
