Rudy Giuliani has said that he will not be representing President Donald Trump at the upcoming impeachment trial.
While Giuliani has acted as Trump's personal lawyer, he has said that he will not have any involvement in the defense because he was witness to the events that happened at Capitol Hill on January 6.
In an interview with The Hill, Giuliani said, "the rules of legal ethics would prohibit me from representing the President as trial counsel in the Impeachment trial."
Giuliani also stated that he may be a witness at the trial.
