Chiefs Hold Off Browns To Advance To AFC Championship

The Kansas City Chiefs are heading back to the AFC Championship Game after holding off the Cleveland Browns 22-17 in the Divisional Round in Kansas City

Patrick Mahomes was 21-of-30 for 255 yards and a touchdown while also running in for a score before exiting with a concussion. Chad Henne finished 6-of-8 for 66 yards and an interception in his place. Travis Kelce had eight catches for 109 yards and a TD for the Chiefs, who will be making their third consecutive appearance in the AFC title game. 

Baker Mayfield finished 23-of-37 for 204 yards, a TD, and a pick for Cleveland, which was seeking its first trip to the AFC Championship since 1989. The Browns were coming off their first playoff win since 1994 after beating the rival Steelers in the Wild Card round. Kareem Hunt ran in for a score and Jarvis Landry had a TD catch in the setback.
