American Airlines is no longer serving alcohol on flights to and from DC following several incidents of what it calls "politically-motivated aggression." The airline did not provide details on any of the incidents, but one such confrontation between a Trump supporter and fellow passengers aboard an AA flights was posted on social media.
The alcohol ban came on the same day that rioters broke into the U.S. Capitol as Congress was set to ratify the presidential election results. The company has ordered flight attendants to continue to remain aware and attempt to handle all safety and security issues on the ground.
