Eleven Republican Senators, led by Texas Senator Ted Cruz, plan to oppose certification of electoral votes affirming Joe Biden's win on Wednesday. Cruz is leading the bunch and together they released a joint statement demanding a ten-day audit of votes by an Electoral Commission. A group of House conservatives also plan to challenge the results. Republican Senator Mike Braun of Indiana says they believe an audit would improve Americans' faith in the electoral process and enhance the legitimacy of whoever becomes the next President.
