The Triple-A Texas Weekend Gas Watch says the statewide average gas price in Texas is $1.95 a gallon for regular unleaded. That price is up four cents from a week ago, and is 27 cents less than a year ago. The national average is $2.25. Rising crude oil prices and tightening gas supplies are leading to a slight rise in prices at the pump. The average price per gallon in San Antonio is $1.87.
