Health providers who still have COVID-19 vaccine are told to use it up as quickly as possible. Healthcare groups yesterday got a letter from the Texas Department of State Health Services that says a significant portion of the vaccine received in Texas hasn't yet been used. The letter from the DSHS commissioner went so far as to recommend providers jump ahead in their priority framework to administer the vaccine to people who want to take it, regardless of their priority status.
