Ja Morant went off for 44 points, 34 of which were in the second half, but it wasn't enough as the Grizzlies fell to the Spurs 131-119 in their season opener at FedEx Forum. DeMar DeRozan led the Spurs 28 points, 9 rebounds and 9 assists. The Spurs return home to play the Raptors on Saturday night.
