Texans age 65 and older, and those age 16 and up with certain medical conditions, will be next in line to receive the coronavirus vaccine. The Texas Department of State Health Services made the announcement on Monday. Since arriving in Texas last week, the vaccine has been available only to front-line health care workers and residents of nursing homes. That covers nearly two-million Texans, so state health officials say it'll probably be a few weeks before anybody else gets the vaccine. Qualifying conditions for the next phase include cancer, heart and kidney disease, pregnancy, diabetes, and others.
