The AAA Texas Weekend Gas Watch says the statewide average gas price in Texas is a $1.91 a gallon for regular unleaded. That price is up five-cents from a week ago and is 32-cents less than a year ago. The national average is $2.20. Crude oil prices are up slightly, gas demand increased over the past week, and supply tightened amid reduced refinery output.
