Metro Health officials are reporting 1,396 new coronavirus cases in Bexar County. That brings to 97,536 the number of cases since the pandemic began. Officials reported five new deaths, raising the county's death toll to a 1,440. The number of hospitalizations rose to 826. More than 82,000 patients have recovered.
