Hemisfair and Centro San Antonio are bringing a man-made snow event to the downtown area this weekend. Centro has arranged with Mireles Ice to deliver more than 55-tons of ice to the drive-thru event to create the artificial snow. The free event will feature music, decorations, carolers, elves, reindeer and other animals, and socially distanced selfies with Santa. Visitors can enter at East Cesar E. Chavez and Hemisfair Boulevard from 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday.
