Fireworks Banned In Bexar County Because Of Drought Conditions

There are a lot of silent nights ahead as Bexar County enters the holidays under a fireworks ban. County commissioners approved a proposal on Tuesday banning the sale or use of fireworks from now through the end of the year. Fire Marshal Louis Chris Lopez the Third submitted the proposal to the commissioners after the Texas Forest Service stated there would be a high risk of fire because of drought conditions in the area.
