Chris Young New Exec VP And GM For Rangers

Chris Young is the new executive vice president and general manager of the Texas Rangers. The team introduced their former pitcher as the new guy in charge on Monday. Young is from North Texas, and played ball for Highland Park High School and later at Princeton. He pitched 13-seasons in the majors, starting with the Rangers in 2004. He went on to the Padres, the Mets, the Mariners, and the Royals, who won the World Series in 2015. Young has been working in the MLB Commissioner's office for the past two-years.
