San Antonio's assistant city manager who's also been serving as the interim director of the Metropolitan Health District will soon be stepping down. Dr. Colleen Bridger has let City Manager Eric Walsh know that she's resigning as of January. Bridger had planned to resign in July to start her own private consulting business. But, she stepped in as interim director of Metro Health after director Dr. Dawn Emerick resigned. Prior to her appointment as assistant city manager, Bridger had been the Metro Health director between 2017 and 2019.
